Nick Tolford & Co. Record Release

Come to Strongwater Gallery this Saturday for Nick Tolford & Co. record release, Just a Kiss. If you've never heard of Nick Tolford & Co. I highly recommend going to see them live. I have seen them perform at Woodland's Tavern, Nelsonville Music Festival & Downtown Live Concert Series at Columbus Commons. They are a seven-piece band from Columbus, OH. There performances are energetic & upbeat. They always get the crowd dancing, you just can't help it. They have great energy.  Their music is described as both raw soul electricity & punk rock abandon.

Two other bands opening bands will be performing as well, Mount Carmel and Wesley Bright & the Hi-Lites. I have not seen these bands yet, but I have heard good things and I plan to go see them Saturday as well.

Holiday Flea

I was excited to find out about a month ago that Columbus Flea was having a Holiday Flea this year. Columbus Flea is usually only four times a year, once each season. So it was great to go and do some Christmas shopping at my favorite flea.

I approached Nikki about having a Wandern Vintage booth at the winter flea. So I'll let you know if it happens. Holiday Flea is a great way to support the Mid-Ohio Foodbank & local creatives. Nikki gave me a Flea bag for future collaborations we may have as Columbus Creatives.

We were in love with the atmosphere at Seventh Son Brewing Co, where Columbus Flea is located.

Thanks Columbus Flea & Seventh Son for putting on another amazing flea. And thanks to George Brazil AKA Ryan, who we met on our way out, for getting an awesome DJ to create a great shopping experience. xx Davia

Tigertree Gift Wrapping Workshop

I was super excited when I received an e-mail from Tigertree, earlier this week, announcing that they were hosting a free gift wrapping workshop. All you had to do was bring along your gifts to wrap.

Our workshop began with a gift wrapping tutorial. You may think you know how to wrap a gift (I know I did), but I still learned a few tricks, especially how to make it look pretty.
Wrapping paper, twine, feathers, bells, gift tags and cocktails were all included.
Cindy came along with me to wrap gifts. I think she is a natural at gift wrapping.

Here are a few of our final wrapped gifts! To see what is inside some of them check out my personal blog Wandern Vintage. I am making all my gifts this year and I am posting a gift a day for 24 days from December 1-24.
Thanks Tigertree for hosting an amazing gift wrapping workshop. xx Davia + Cindy
